Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (1/2 cup = about 4 med limes)
  • 3 cups Reddi-wip® Extra Creamy Dairy Whipped Topping, divided (3 cups = about 4-1/4 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust (9-inch, 6 oz each)

Directions

  1. Combine sweetened condensed milk and lime juice in large bowl until blended. Gently fold in 2 cups of the Reddi-wip and lime peel.
  2. Pour mixture into crust. Freeze 8 hours, or overnight. Garnish with additional grated lime peel, if desired. Top each slice with remaining Reddi-wip immediately before serving.

I have used this recipe for over 20 years but do use a package of Philly cheese with it and don't freeze it, just refrigerate it. Mine rates a 5.

You can also use the frozen lime juice concentrate and/or cool whip. Fat free cool whip and fat free sweetened condensed milk for a fat free pie.

Don't understand why you have to "freeze" it for 8 hours. Did you mean refrigerate instead of freeze ? I will try this recipe looks very easy to make. thanks

I made this pie today and WoW! incredible and very easy. Let me offer a tip: Squeeze the limes and let the lime juice sit out for about an hour before making the pie. The intensity of lime flavor increases if you let the juice it out . I happened to read about this last week. Very happy with this recipe!!!!
