Summer is over. It’s time to throw on an oversized sweater, pull up a pair of long knit socks, and zip up those riding boots. Fall is here and with it comes pumpkin, spice, and everything nice. There’s no better time than now to grab your blender and welcome back fall with our list of harvest party-approved boozy milkshakes.
Boozy Mexican Hot Chocolate Shake
To Make: Blend together 1 package of Swiss Miss® hot cocoa, a shot of dairy cream liqueur, a cup of chocolate ice cream, milk, and a dash of cayenne pepper. Top with a whoosh of Reddi-wip® and a dash of ground nutmeg and ground cinnamon. For an alcohol free option, omit liqueur.
White Russian Shake
To Make: Blend together 1 shot of vodka, 1 shot of coffee liqueur, a scoop of coffee flavored ice cream, and milk. For a White Russian Shake everyone can enjoy, omit vodka and coffee liqueur.
Boozy Pear Cider Shake
To make: Blend together ¼ cup of Hard Pear Cider, vanilla ice cream, and a dash of ground cinnamon. Top your shake with whipped topping and a fresh slice of pear. Ditch the booze by substituting hard cider for Pear Sparkler or non-alcoholic Pear Cider.
Boozy Pumpkin Pie Shake
To Make: In a blender, combine desired amount of canned pumpkin pie mix, a shot of spiced rum, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and milk. Finish your Boozy Pumpkin Pie Shake off with a whoosh of Reddi-wip and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice. For a smoky shake flavor profile, substitute bourbon for spiced rum. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the booze altogether!
To Make: In a blender, combine 1 slice of Lattice Cherry Pie, vanilla ice cream, milk, and almond extract. Punch up your shake by adding 1 ounce of whipped cream-flavored vodka. Make your shake extra delicious with whipped topping and sliced almonds. Not feeling an adult milkshake recipe? Just omit the whipped cream flavored vodka!
Pro-Tip: For a dairy-free version, substitute vanilla ice cream with a dairy-free ice cream made with coconut milk and replace regular milk with a lactose free milk.
Boozy Peanut Butter and Toasted Marshmallow Shake
To Make: Blend together 1 shot of dairy cream liqueur, milk, vanilla ice cream, and a spoonful of peanut butter. Top your shake with toasted marshmallows and crumbled graham crackers. Ditch the dairy cream liqueur to make your shake non-alcoholic.
To Make: Blend together 1 slice of Dutch Apple Pie, ½ cup of vanilla bean ice cream, 2 tbsp of apple cider, and a dash of ground cinnamon. Make your pie shake extra festive for fall by blending in an (optional) shot of salted caramel flavored liqueur.
